The Parkside Landscaping Major Atom A Belleville Jr. Bulls finished their OMHA playdown run with a loss against the Whitby Blue Wildcats. Whitby completed the sweep on Saturday at the Iroquois Parks Sports Centre, with a 2-0 win over the Jr. Bulls. The boys tried hard, but once again could not solve the Whitby netminder. James Queen took the loss in goal.
The team looks forward to the Ange Giajnorio Memorial Tournament in Niagara Falls, from March 15th to the 17th.
The Parkside Landscaping Major Atom A Belleville Jr. Bulls played the first two games of the Quarter Finals this weekend. Unfortunately, we lost the first one Saturday in Whitby. The boys played hard but the final score was 2-0 for Whitby. James Queen took the loss in goal. On Sunday, we faced Whitby at the Quinte Sports Centre, and in this game the boys tried hard. The score was 1-0 after the first, and no scoring in the second. Willie Richards managed to get one in the third. Whitby managed the winning goal in the third as well as an empty-netter to end this game at 3-1 for Whitby. Charlie Archer took the loss in goal. The team looks forward to game three against the Whitby Wildcats this Saturday, at the Iroquois Parks Sports Centre-Rink 1 at 2:30 pm. Go Bulls Go!
Head Coach Curtis Mott, and the Parkside Landscaping Belleville Jr. Bulls Major Atom A minor hockey team have had an exciting week. After winning game one in overtime, the team took that momentum into Ajax. We faced the Knights, Thursday evening at the Ajax Community Centre. This was a very close game. Belleville opened the scoring with a nice goal from Willie Richards, assisted by Mac Boomhower. Charlie Archer made several highlight reel saves to cap off his 38 shot shutout. With an empty net late in the third...Willie Richards put the finishing touches on a 2-0 win for the Jr. Bulls.
Game three of this series was Saturday evening, on the very large ice at the Yardmen Arena. This was a relatively physical and tightly called game. Belleville worked hard, played well, but could not solve the Ajax Knights goaltender. James Queen faced 19 shots, and was solid in goal for the Jr. Bulls and earned the shutout. Our second round opponents are the Ajax Knights. The first game against Ajax was at home on Sunday afternoon at the Wally Dever Arena. This physical game remained close. The Jr. Bulls opened the scoring with a goal from Mac Boomhower, assisted by Liam Lochhead and Willie Richards. James Queen was solid in goal. However, The Ajax Knights managed to tie the game very late in the third. During the overtime period Willie Richards scored the game winner with the assist going to Mac Boomhower. Final score was 2-1 for the Belleville Jr. Bulls.

Our first game was Saturday afternoon at home, with a final score of 3-1 for the Jr. Bulls. Scoring the first goal was Bryce Rose, assisted by Aaron Yuan and Nate Channell. The second came from Mac Boomhower, assisted by Willie Richards and Will Smith. The third goal was from Willie Richards, assisted by Will Smith and Mac Boomhower. Charlie Archer was solid in goal for the win.
The second game this week was Sunday afternoon in Cobourg at the Cobourg Memorial Arena. This physical game also ended with a nice win for Belleville. James Queen was solid in goal. The first goal came from Willie Richards, assisted by Liam Lochhead and Will Smith. The second goal came from Josh Verbeek, assisted by Cole McCambridge and Chris Keller. Liam Lochhead has been growing his hair so he could donate it to a wig for a deserving cancer patient. Today was the day he had it all cut off! Liam not only donated his hair, he also raised money for cancer research in the process.

Belleville Jr. Bulls Major Atom A Win Bronze at Bell Capital Cup!
Head Coach Curtis Mott and the Parkside
Landscaping Belleville Jr. Bulls Major Atom A hockey team participated at the
Bell Capital Cup in Ottawa this week. Four consecutive shutouts helped them to the semi-final, where they lost
to the eventual tournament winners. The boys had fun participating in the Bell
Capital Cup All-Star game and the Skills Competitions.
The first game was Wednesday against the
Kemptville Panthers. The first Jr. Bulls goal was scored on a powerplay by
Will Smith, assisted by Mackinley Boomhower and Willie Richards. The
second goal of the first period was scored by Jaden Mott, assisted by Joshua
Verbeek. Belleville’s third goal was scored in the second period by Mackinley
Boomhower assisted by Will Smith and Willie Richards. The last goal was
scored in the third period by Chris Keller, assisted by Mackinley

Saturday, at the Cobourg Community Centre. The boys played well. The final
score was 5-2 for Belleville. Charlie Archer was solid in goal. The first goal
was scored by Nate Channell, assisted by Josh Verbeek. Mac Boomhower had a hat
trick, with assists coming from Kyle Scruby, Bryce Rose and Cole McCambridge.

The second game this weekend was against the
Clarington Toros. The final score was 8-3 for the Jr. Bulls. The boys passed
the puck well and played smart hockey. James Queen was in goal. Mac Boomhower
had two goals, with assists from Willie Richards, Chris Keller and Bryce Rose.

had another busy week of hockey. The first of three games this week was Thursday at home. We played the
Cobourg Cougars. The final score was 4-1 for the Jr. Bulls. One goal was scored
by Jaden Mott, assisted by Aaron Yuan and Cole McCambridge. A Hat Trick by Nate
Channell rounded out the scoring, with assists from Kyle Scruby, Aaron Yuan and
Josh Verbeek. Charlie Archer was between the pipes.
The second game this week was Saturday, against the Ajax Knights. This game ended with a 4-1 win for the
Knights. The lone Jr. Bulls goal was scored by Mac Boomhower, assisted by Will
Smith. James Queen was in goal.
The third game this week was Sunday afternoon in Clarington,
against the Toros. This one ended as a 5-2 win for the Jr. Bulls, the two
Clarington goals came late in the third. Belleville scoring in this one came
from Bryce Rose, assisted by Josh Verbeek. The second goal was scored by Kyle
