BMHA will be hosting it's 2012 House League Tournament of Champions on March 2, 3, and 4th to finish off the season.  We invite all team sponsors, parents, siblings, and all community hockey fans to attend and cheer on our teams.  Bring your cowbells, horns, and cheers to create a festive atmosphere for our players. BMHA has posted a parent satisfaction survey on our website under COACHES for all parents to voluntarily complete.  Please appreciate that the survey is intended for both representative and house league parents - so some staff sections may not be applicable to your team.  Please just enter "Mr. Nobody" where it requests a name of a staff member that you don't have and move on to the next section.  The survey indicates a deadline of January 30th - which is applicable to current representative parents ONLY as coaching selection for representative teams for the 2012-13 season will begin at the end of March.  ALL representative teams for the 2012-13 season will be selected after tryouts in May. We would request that any House League parents interested in completing the survey and providing BMHA with their input for consideration for the upcoming season have the survey completed by February 28th.

Kevin produces DVDs of hockey games with a live play-by-play audio track. He says the players names, and injects his own sense of humor into the narrative. His voice has the classic 'gruff sports announcer'  tone which really adds to the video. The cost is $20 per DVD (tax incl)  which is a bargain for the quality of the production you get. Parents, players and supporters will be able to purchase these approximately 20 minutes after their game. A great Christmas gift!

House League schedules will be coming out soon.  With the re-opening of the Dick Ellis arena I have requested additional ice times to replace the regular house league ice times we had lost due to tournaments and special events at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.  I will be hearing from the City early next week so will issue the schedules as soon as possible after that.  I will be working to keep your divisions schedule as close to the times you have had, but some changes may occur to maximize the ice times for your children.

We have added the following ice times to the Bantam HL schedule to make up for the games they missed on Thanksgiving Monday.  These ice times will be led by Chris Longo of the Belleville Bulls and will be a combination of a Power skating & Skills Session.  Teams 1, 2 & 3 will be scheduled for 4:30-6:00PM, Teams 4, 5 & 6 for 6:00-7:30PM, and Teams 7 & 8 for 7:30-9:00PM.

Due to changes in our ice times, the three Peewee games scheduled for December 4 have had changes made to them.  A new schedule has been uploaded to the website - under TEAMS - House League - Divisional Schedules with the changes marked in Blue.
